When a trout turns around and your fly swims downstream, hooking the fish is often a problem. Dave and Amelia Jensen show us a great trick to catching more of these tricky fish. As usual we are treated to spectacular photos of big trout emerging and feeding below the surface and Dave and Amelia catching and missing them. Most of us won’t be able to fish for trout that big or see trout in the water, but we can still tell a surge downstream if we see the white of a trout’s mouth or a bump downstream. Saying the cliché of “God save the Queen” is still good practice, Dave suggests
